HOME ROUND TRIP
Welcome to the Home Round Trip (HRT) coordination area.
The HRT is an unprecedented event that allows our pilots to fly from and to their real life home base cities onboard an AA flight. The duration of this event may reach some weeks depending on how rapidly the pilots will comply with their schedules after receiving the aircraft from the previous pilot.
The HRT will be divided in two stages, as follows:
S1 - STAGE 1 - the pilots depart from their real life home base airport
S2 - STAGE 2 - the pilots arrive on their real life home base airport
A first pilot departs from the city where he lives and fly to a city at which another AA pilot lives, starting the S1 schedules. Once this second pilot receives the aircraft at his city, he'll depart towards the city of a third pilot and will give him the flight yoke. Then, the third pilot will do the same to a fourth pilot and so on.
After all subscribed pilots have done this procedure, the last pilot receiving the plane will depart from his city towards the home base of the first pilot (who wont be there!), and then, bring the aircraft back to his city, starting the S2 schedules until the first pilot land at his own city.
See the diagram below for a better understanding:

The aircraft choosen to operate the HRT was the Level-D Boeing 767-300ER model.
To ensure that all pilots will fly exactly the same aircraft, it was defined OUR amazing FCSS (Flight Crew Schedule System) aircraft transfer standard, which consists on the following procedures:
- once you have parked the airplane at destination airport, you must save the flight as "HRT"
- locate and open the folder "Flight Simulator Files" in your Windows Explorer
- search for the three generated files named: "HRT.FLT", "HRT.WX" and "HRT.FMC"
- send those in attach via e-mail to the next pilot. That's it.
Remark: for this event, you must to send the 3 files to aa.virtual@hotmail.com, then we'll resend those to the next pilot of the schedule sequency.
Doing so, the next pilot will find the aircraft exactly as you have left it after your flight. It means that parking position, remaining fuel, radio frequencies, systems and everything, including the airplane registration, will be kept the same from a pilot to another one, exactly like it happens in real life operations. Yes, just one aircraft for several pilots!
MAIN RULES
- all pilots must have the same aircraft texture for AA's B763 registration N327AA installed (click here to download that texture) - the flight number at flightplan must be as a CHARTER flight standard (check NOTAM section)
- pilots living on cities with airports not suitable for a B763 will receive a special schedule to reach a surrounding larger airport in witch the aircraft operates
- all flights must be flown online, with real time and simulation rate 1x
- pilots are responsible for taking note the DEP and ARR zulu times for a proper PIREP filling after each flight
- once receiving the e-mail with the 3 HRT files, put those into the "Flight Simulator Files" folder, open the FS, search for "HRT" at saved flights list and fly your scheduled flight accordingly with the FLIGHT SCHEDULES table below as soon as practicable
Participating pilots will be awarded with the Home Round Trip award
